Marla gets the news about her broken finger. She prepares a paleo dinner. And Spencer comes by to share the results from Marla’s intestinal permeability test.
The Sarris VLOG
Over the years Jeff's been a big fan of filmmaking. We didn't start vlogging until recently and we've still been finding our identity (we did a SPYR VLOG and a Paleo Porn VLOG), but we're thinking it's time to start the final rebranding of our VLOG. It's not specifically food, or entrepreneurship, but all us and our lives. So moving forward it will simply be The Sarris VLOG.
And although vlogging is still kind of a new thing, in retrospect, we recorded some travel VLOGs before VLOGs were a thing. As you scroll through the archives you'll find some deep cuts from our travels.
We spent the day at Farmer Wayne’s for his open house Farm Day. Throughout the day people visited to see the farm, learn about Wayne’s CSA, paleo, beekeeping, and to play with the animals.
We started our day on Periscope and didn’t expect to record a VLOG. But around 6pm we worked out, headed to the pool, and decided to finally record an Ask Paleo Porn segment.
Plus some nasty weather came in to make for a nice lightning filled timelapse.
Todays’ VLOG is a two parter. While I was busy doing other things for a couple days Marla shot while she cooked. Day 1 was a cooking marathon and on day 2 she makes, start to finish, a full paleo dinner. Completely from scratch.
After going to a killer rock show, with barely anyone in attendance we wonder if rock’s dead. Not the music, but the support. Marla lifts heavy things, makes a paleo lunch salad, and I share a bit about our business (SPYR) and our mentorship program.
We did a little running around on our bikes, changed our plans multiple times, and ended up watching Fourth of July fireworks at Ribfest.
Today I clipped the GoPro to my backpack as we ran some errands. We ran into a friend, some deer, and came back for a smoothie and to spend time with friends.
